Village Children’s Forum: Empowering the Next Generation

To this end, the Village Children’s Forum (Forum Anak Desa) was established as a platform for children to express their opinions and play an active role in the development process at the village level.

What is the Village Children’s Forum?

The Village Children’s Forum is an organization consisting of children selected from various families and schools within the village. This forum aims to provide children with the opportunity to be involved in decision-making processes related to their rights and welfare. It also serves as a bridge between children and policy-makers at the village level.

Vision and Mission of the Village Children’s Forum

The formation of the village children’s forum is driven by the following vision and mission:

1. Vision: To realize an inclusive and responsive village that addresses the needs and aspirations of children.

The Village Children’s Forum, officially established by a Village Head’s Decree (SK Kepala Desa), has several primary duties, including:

2. Participating in Planning: Engaging in discussions and planning for village programs related to children.
3. Organizing Activities: Conducting events aimed at increasing community understanding of child rights and welfare.

The forum organizes various activities, such as:
